She is Research Director and Deputy Director of the Hellenic Institute of Transport at Center of Research Technology Hellas HIT/CERTH, with professional and research expertise in: Technology enabled Transport Systems Management, ITS for sustainable mobility & freight Transport & logistics, Operations Research applications in transport & mobility. She holds:  a Civil Engineer degree of the National Technical University of Athens, with specialization in Transport Engineering, Maitrise Informatic of University of PARIS VII, DEA Transport of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausees and Engineering PhD form Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
She is Head of Unit “Intelligent Infrastructure & Demand Management” of the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT), implementing and supervising research projects in the field Intelligent Transport Infrastructure and Transport Demand Management. Accumulating more than 25 years’ experience in European research projects related to sustainable development of passenger and freight transport. She is active in publishing and exploiting scientific research results.

Paolo is sector expert on Toll Roads.

Dr. Angelos J. Amditis is Research Director in the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) and member of its Board of Directors. He is the founder, and the Director of the I-SENSE Research Group (http://i-sense.iccs.gr) . He is the Vice President, former President and one of the founding members of ITS Hellas. In June 2018 he became the ERTICO Chairman while he has been a member of the ERTICO-ITS Europe Supervisory Board since 2013. He is participating to the C-ITS Platform, DTLF, GEAR2030, TM2.0 Platform,Trilateral WG on Automation, euRobotics, SENSORIS, WssTP, ALICE (Steering Committee Member), UITP, EFFRA, AIOTI and many other EC Groups and Platforms. He is the writer of several peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters and more than 180 conference papers. Bojan Banfi, BSc in Economics, has more than 30 years of working experience in different strategic areas.
Having worked in the office of the Vice President of the Government of Slovenia for ten years, he had been involved in preparation of certain fundamental documents for the economic independence of the Republic of Slovenia (National currency, Law of Bank of Slovenia).    
Between 1995 and 2001, he worked for the Telecom of Slovenia as a General Secretary to the Management Board, where he was, among other responsibilities, a part of the group for the establishment of subsidiaries of Telekom Slovenia, d.d. (GVO d.o.o. and Siol d.o.o.).
Since 2002, he has been working for DARS d.d., Slovenian Motorway Company, where he had been an Executive Director of the Toll department since 2006. In 2008, he led and successfully carried out the project "Introduction of vignettes / Toll stickers to pay tolls for passenger cars", where he coordinated work in several areas. The project was complex from an organizational, staffing and financial aspect, and the deadline for implementation was less than 100 days.
Since 2013, he is the Advisor to the Management Board and the Director of the Motorway Management Division, which includes traffic safety, motorway management, infrastructure, rest areas and electronic toll collection system. From 2012, he has also been leading the team, which is responsible for public procurement for the electronic toll collection system. He is currently involved in many projects related to asset management, traffic safety, smart mobility, etc.

Michael Bibaritsch is an independent project management and ITS senior consultant with 35+ years of worldwide project management and 25+ years ITS and especially ETC expertise, serving his international customers through his consultancy firm Prime Consulting Services, based in Austria. He played key roles in the successful procurements and timely deployments of the national ETC schemes in Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, and many more - most recently in Slovenia, going live on 1 April 2018. He significantly contributed to the successful re-procurement of the new Austrian GO MAUT 2.0 system by ASFINAG (2015-2017). Regarding national ETC schemes his expertise encompasses feasibility studies, business modeling and evaluation, system design, specification, test and operations and optimization, national legal backing (including enforcement matters), and all legal, technical and commercial aspects of internationally procuring ETC systems & services.

Christophe Boutin is the Executive Director of ASFA. He is graduated as an engineer from Ecole Polytechnique and l’Ecole Nationale des Ponts-et-chaussées. He started his career as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. He joined the highway sector in 2004, first at Société des Autoroutes Paris Normandie (SAPN), as director of construction and sustainable development and then in charge of the concession contracts at Sanef. In 2011, he joined ASFA, the professional highway association in France, as deputy to the managing director. He participates in workgroups of several road associations : URF (Union Routière de France), UNSPIC (Union des Services Publics, Industriels et Commerciaux), E3PO (European PPP Operating Companies in Infrastructure and Services), IDRRIM (Institut des routes, des rue et des infrastructures de Mobilité) and PIARC (The World Road Association). With 20 years of experience in IT Hein Dekkers currently serves as Technical Officer for Global IoT Sales at Cisco. In this role today he is technically responsible to push innovation and digitization for Cisco’s IoT architectures, with a primary focus on creating replicability. Especially where mobility finds strength across nation borders there is a need for digitization that covers both technical capabilities as well as (data) governance, security and auditability and where they go hand in hand. For this reason, Hein Dekkers is Cisco globally technical responsible for the orchestration of road-/ and harbor digitization.
Hein has a rich background as a specialist in data extraction and delivery services. In that capacity, he has managed a portfolio of roads, Floating Car Data organizations and harbor projects where these are combined with the vision of SMART mobility.  Hein has coordinated the implementation of innovative programs that address the ways we work, live, play and learn within the context of transport and logistic efficiency.
Typical innovation delivery and projects being worked on include Floating Car Data(FCD), Block chain technology, Smart Mobility Solutions, Road Digitization and Smart Ports. Aspassia Kouzoupi PhD, is an architect, a MAS_LA, ETH.Z urban-scale landscape architect and a visual artist.

They are the founding members of the team SCULPTED ARCHITECTURAL LANDSACPES®. They have been designing and creating landscapes entities along major motorway axes, since 1999, in efficient collaboration with the construction engineers and teams, in the framework of their following projects:

1] Attiki Odos JV, Ymittos Ring, Athens, Greece: “Landscapes between Motorway and Nature”

Between 2000-2003 and 2003-2005, they created a series of landscapes along the Western Mt Ymittos Ring, along 4km of the mountain cut. This project was selected as a Finalist for the 2004 European Prize for Urban Public Space, in Barcelona. The Prize is annually organized by: CCCB-Barcelona, AzW-Wien, CAP-Paris, NAI-Rotterdam, AF-London, MFA-Helsinki. This project is archived and exhibited at the European Archive of Urban Public Space.

2] MOREAS JV, Ancient Cleonae Area, Korinthos Prefecture, Greece: “Focus in Motion of the Ancient Quarries of Cleonae”

Between 2009 and 2011, they elaborated a thorough research of the ancient quarrying complex of Cleonae, and its visibility from the new motorway, and created a design that aims establishing a dialogue between modern and ancient infrastructure. This project has partially been completed, yet it has been published in international Journals [Germany: Topos: the review of landscape and urban design, Italy: Paysage-Topscape] and has been presented successfully in the 5th International Landscape Archaeology Congress, organized in 2018 by the Universities of Newcastle and Durham. It also acquired honorable mention at the 2013 DOMES architectural awards, by an international renowned jury [Prof. Kenneth Frampton, Prof. Alberto Ferlenga, and Prof. Inaki Abalos]. The idea is that of signalizing an “infrastructural Palimpsest” or “A crossroad in time” where ancient and modern infrastructure meet.

Their large-scale projects also include the “Open air museum of old quarrying arts” , Finalist for the Rosa Barba prize of  the 1st landscape Biennale of Barcelona, and the Central Square of Glyfada “Katraki Square’ [who took Honorable Mention at the DOMES 2011 awards]. Their realized works have been widely published in volumes and journals internationally, and have been presented in international exhibitions such as:

• “Time Space Existence” architecture exhibition of the European Cultural Centre in Venice, in the context of the 15th Mostra Internationale La Biennale di Venezia 2016. Organized by: GAA Foundation i.c.w. European Cultural Centre

Antony has extensive experience in financial services in Greece and internationally both at corporates and in banking. Before joining the ELLAKTOR group he worked for Shell Company Hellas, Kantor Management Consultants and National Bank of Greece (based on Athens, Greece) and UBS Investment Bank (based in London).

He is also the President of "HELLASTRON" (HELLENIC ASSOCIATION of TOLL ROAD NETWORK) formed by all toll highways operating in Greece, as well as the President of ASECAP, the European Toll Road Association. Currently serves as Vice president of Aktor Concessions SA, Managing Director of Aegean Motorway SA and Member of the BoD of Olympia Odos Operation SA.

 With thirty eight (38) years of experience, the first fifteen (15) in the USA and the remaining in Europe, he is specialized in transportation and road infrastructure works. He has completed his Bachelor Degree in Surveying Engineering (1981) at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (1984) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), USA. 

 Past President of the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers (H.ITE) and a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in eight US States. Yannis is a Civil-Transportation Engineer, from the National Technical University of Athens (1992) with an M.Sc. on European Banking by the European Business and Management School of Antwerp (2000). He is member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, of the Association of Civil Engineers and of the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers, where he held the position of the Chairman of the BoD during 2006 – 2010.
During 1992-2000 he collaborated with the Department of Transportation Planning and engineering of NTUA, where he participated in a number of research projects, while as a free-lancer he was involved in a number of traffic studies and transport projects. The period 2001-2009, he collaborated with Engineering & Business Consulting Companies in a number of Transport Planning & Evaluation Projects and of Strategic and Business Development Plans, in Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, North Macedonia, Italia, Slovenia and Malta.

Mike is a Consulting Engineer based in the United Kingdom with over thirty years experience of deploying intelligent transport systems mainly in a road transport setting.
Mike holds an honours degree in electrical and electronic engineering, is a Chartered member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, a fellow of the Institute of Highways and Transportation, past Chairman of the IET’s Automotive and Road Transport professional network, and a former Jaguar cars graduate trainee.
Prior to establishing his own consultancy - Transport Logic, Mike held senior positions in Engineering firms Atkins, Carl Bro and Hyder, during which time he completed projects for many well-known clients in the Highways, Automotive, Airports and Transit sectors.
Since establishing Transport Logic, Mike has been engaged on projects in several countries including Poland, Ireland and England, and was a consultant during the REETS project.
Mike’s previous experience includes the National Traffic Control Centre, Regional Control Centre and National Roads Telecommunications projects in England, as well as Dublin Port Tunnel  in Ireland.  Mike has experience of using a variety of contract and funding models on projects including PFI, DBFO, PPP, Service Contracts, as well as EU co-funded projects.

Fotini Ioannidou has held the post of Head of the Road Safety Unit in the European Commission  since January 2017. She was previously Head of the Human Resources Unit from 2012-16 serving both the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport and the Directorate General for Energy. She is working for the Commission since 1994. Her work at the Commission has focused mainly on transport policy, including policy and inter-institutional coordination, aviation safety and air traffic management. Before joining the Commission, Ms Ioannidou has worked as an IT and telecoms consultant for CAP GEMINI in Paris. She holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace, a Master’s degree in information systems from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications of Paris and a Master's degree in electronics from the University of Paris XI-Orsay.

Kapila, P.E., a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Fellow in the American Society of Civil Engineers is a well accomplished person.  Apart from leading a renowned infrastructure Consultancy Organization in India, employing over 1,500 professionals, he also Co-Chairs the Infrastructure Committee at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).  He was a Member of the Board of Directors at FIDIC– a global association of Consulting Engineering Associations, till September 2017.
Mr. Kapila believes that Safety is the hallmark of a sustainable and robust infrastructure – be it road, railways, airports, ports, metros, etc.  Mr. Kapila pursues this conviction through the International Road Federation (IRF) in his capacity as its Chairman.  The IRF is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation pursuing the objective of ‘’Safe Roads and Safe Road Mobility’’ across the World.   His passion is to fulfill the UN Decade of Action which envisages 50% reduction in road fatalities, especially in the developing world of Africa and Asia, amongst others.
As Chairman of ICT P Ltd, he drives the organisation to be highly focused on undertaking technical feasibility studies, Survey, Designs, development of masterplan of Roads and Highways, Railways and Metro, Airports, Smart Cities, besides other consultancy services.  A number of projects in India and over 44 countries across the world have been successfully undertaken across various infrastructure domains.
Mr. Kapila has authored a number of Papers published in various journals and is recipient of a number of national and international awards. His vision is to put in place a quality based procurement mechanism to ensure that safety is an integral and inbuilt part of any infrastructure.

My name is Pavlos Karanatsis and I am the Head of Traffic Management Systems of Ionia Odos motorway at Nea Odos S.A since 2017. I graduated in 2007 from the University of Patras with the degree of “Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology”. In 2009, after completing my military service I worked as a Site Electrical Engineer for the Company SEMAC Constructions for the project: “New Crude Distillation Unit” in Motoroil Refinery, Greece. I continued working for SEMAC Constructions in various projects such as the electrical works of a new underground parking station in Athens, the Upgrade of the facilities of Hellenic Petroleum in Elefsina and other smaller oil & gas projects. From 2013 to 2015 I was in charge of the Electrical construction department of SEMAC in Thessaloniki and responsible for the completion of electrical works mostly in the Industrial section (Hellenic Petroleum, Coral Gas, Elpedison facilities). In 2015 I started working in the construction works of Ionia Odos Motorway for Hellas Tolls Joint Venture and specifically for the installation of Traffic Management Systems equipment.

Konstantinos V. Katsaros, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Engineer and Project Manager at Intracom S.A. He holds extensive experience in information-centric networking (H2020 POINT, UMobile, FP7 PISRP and PURSUIT, UK EPSRC COMIT) and has also worked on IoT interoperability (H2020 symbIoTe), smart grids (FP7 C-DAX), inter-domain carrier services (FP7 ETICS) and multicast/broadcast service provision over cellular networks (FP6 B-BONE). He has been a Research Associate at University College London (UK) and Telecom ParisTech (France). He holds a BSc (2003) in Informatics, a MSc (2005) in Computer Science and a PhD (2010) in Computer Science, from AUEB (Greece). Dr. Katsaros has an extensive experience in European Research procedures, spanning FP6, FP7 and H2020. He also participates standardization activities in the context of ETSI, as well as IETF/IRTF. He is currently working at EGNATIA ODOS S.A. headquarters located at Thessaloniki-Macedonia-Greece.  Egnatia odos SA is a tollway company established in 1996, responsible for the management of design, construction, operation and maintenance of a 1000 Km Egnatia Odos tollway.  Konstantinos is currently Director of Tolls at Egnatia Odos S.A. and held for over 20 years, various positions in the field of highway Operation & Maintenance.
His career started as a transportation engineer in Dallas-Texas-USA, where for seven years worked at a governmental transportation authority, for various transportation projects.
Over the years, Konstantinos was involved with Asecap issues and has served as Greek representative in 2013, at COMEX body of Asecap. Together with other professionals of the field, took part for the establishment of HELLASTRON in 2014, Greek association of toll roadway network. He has served as General Secretary in HELLASTRON 2014-2016 and for over ten years he represented Greece at the European Electronic Toll Committee instituted by Directive 2004/52/EC.
In addition, Mr. Koutsoukos has been involved in issues related to Tunnel safety and he participates since 2007 as a member at the Greek Administrative Tunnel Authority (ATA).

Born in 1975, Mr Benoit Le Bouille has a degree in chemical engineering from Ecole de chimie de Lyon in France.

In Vinci Highways, he was in charge of managing the opening of the second section of the tunnel Duplex on the A86 motorway in Paris (double deck tunnel, 10 km long).
At the beginning of 2015, Benoit Le Bouille was appointed Managing Director and General Manager of GEFYRA LITOURGIA.
GEFYRA LITOURGIA is the company in charge of the operation of the Rion-Antirion Bridge (one of the biggest fully suspended bridge of the world).

David is an experienced project manager and project director.  He was previously Halcrow’s Commercial Director for Canada based in Toronto, and is currently managing a portfolio of Lender Technical Advisor transport and social infrastructure projects for Jacobs.

Conceição Magalhães holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration. She works at BRISA Gestão de Infraestruturas as a Deputy Director and is the Head of the Cadastre Management Service. On top of that, she is completing her PhD in Transportation Systems, at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Portugal. Her research work aims to define a framework to deal with the operational integration of autonomous and conventional vehicles on motorways.
From 2009 to 2017, she was responsible for the investment planning and management at BRISA Concessão Rodoviária. She also worked for 3 years at BRISA Auto-estradas, in the Environmental, Safety and Maintenance Division, as a Pavement Technical Manager.
Besides that, Conceição has 13 years of experience working as Road Designer, 11 of which, as Road Project Manager, at COBA, the largest Portuguese company of Engineering and Environmental Consultants.
She is very eager to study and support emergent technologies’ market penetration, as well as contribute to increase their public acceptability, which will ultimately lead to a low carbon and safer society, improving the quality of life and work of European citizens.

He coordinated the project of Cellular Network Services Continuity of COSMOTE, in which he had a great contribution to the international accreditation of his company, in terms of Business Continuity Assurance and to the “Highly Commended Business Continuity Company of the Year” award.

In 1989, he began his professional career as Team Manager for Verdenova SpA, Rome, in charge of monitoring green areas’ maintenance works along A14 Bolo-gna–Bari-Taranto motorway.
In 1990 he began his own business first as Site Manager, then as Technical Direc-tor and finally as CEO of Stil verde Srl, Ravenna, in charge of technical and logistic management of the main motorway sites held by the company, including the Brescia–Padua motorway (maintenance of green areas), the Messina-Palermo motorway (green landscaping arrangement), the Milan-Genoa motorway (con-struction of sound isolation and noise-reduction barriers).

In 2009 the company became Ecogest Srl and in 2016 - Ecogest SpA, becoming well-known in Italy in the field of motorway maintenance, acting on behalf of private motorway con-cessionaires, for the railway consortia in charge of building the High-Speed Rome-Naples, Turin-Milan and Milan-Genoa lines and for ANAS SpA.
By the end of 2018, Ecogest SpA work in 14 Italian regions and 4 different coun-tries in Europe, becoming the reference operator of the GAVIO family, that today is the 1st largest Italian private operator of motorways and transport networks. By July 2018 Ecogest SpA has become an associate member of AISCAT.
Among Ecogest’s most prestigious clients: Autostrada del Brennero, Autostrada Milano Serravalle, Autovie Venete, Autovia Padana, Autostrada del Mediterra-neo, Autostrada dei Parchi, and the entire Gavio network managed through the ASTM SpA and SIAS SpA.

Jannis Nassoulis has 20 years of experience in the infrastructure construction and transportation industry.
He holds an Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Erlangen (Germany). He started his career in the mega project world by successfully managing the deployment of the first large scale Intelligent Transportation System project in Greece, the Attiki Odos Integrated Toll and Traffic Management System. Subsequently he was involved in motorway operations being responsible for Tunnel Safety at Attiki Odos.
In 2007, Jannis undertook to organize the operation and maintenance of the 230km long motorway concession project, Aegean Motorway, as Chief Operations Officer. Holding the position of the COO for nine years, Jannis lead the effort to introduce modern technology into a world of earthworks, concrete, iron and asphalt. Since 2016, Jannis is working with IBI, designing the cities of tomorrow.

Fabrizio Paoletti is an Electronic Engineer, involved for 26 years in Traffic Control Centres Application development for Autostrade per l’Italia, specifically designing and integrating IT Solutions to operate Traffic Management and Traffic Information Systems.
Active in European Projects for data exchange at national borders, in 2003 he joined the European working group on Road Data Traffic Exchange: the DATEX Technical Committee, in the EU funded programs.
Since then he had been actively supporting in developing DATEX II standard (CEN EN 16157) and he is still active in this topic in DATEX PSA Organisation, cofounded by EU and run under CEDR ( www.datex2.eu ) and in corresponding experts groups CEN (TC278/WG8) and ISO (TC204/WG9).
On behalf of Autostrade per l'Italia he also joined the TM2.0 platform initiative, run under ERTICO ( www.tm20.org ), to facilitate the liason among DATEX II, Road Operator based Data Exchange, to integrate and easy the collaboration with Service Providers, to enhance Traffic Management processes.
His recent experience in the European framework and within Autostrade is focused in supporting Traffic Management processes workflows among several Authorities' Traffic Management Centres, implementing “Collaborative ITS Services” to operate VMS , Traffic management Plans and C ITS Services.
His presentation will show state of art in Data Exchange research domain in DATEX II project to support ITS services application developments to grant Road Safety and enable collaborative Traffic Management in operational systems.

Fanis is a Civil / Transport Engineer with degrees from University of Thessaloniki and Imperial College, London. During the past 15 years Fanis works for Attikes Diadromes, the Operator of the Attica Tollway in Athens. Konstantinos Papandreou holds currently the position of the CEO of Olympia Odos Operation SA, i.e. the company that has undertaken the operation and maintenance services for the Olympia Odos Motorway Concession Scheme in Greece. The undoubtedly challenging Project of Olympia Odos consists of the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of one of the most important routes in Greece, namely the one connecting Athens with the city of Patra - that is the country’s most significant port to the West.

In his professional career, he has undertaken key roles and positions in various Transportation Projects in Greece. Indicatively, he served as Traffic Planning Manager in the Motorway Project of Attiki Odos, the pioneer project on a concession basis in Greece, and later on as Traffic & Maintenance Manager in Attikes Diadromes SA, the Operation Company of Attiki Odos. Pedro Pinto was also responsible for Ascendi’s Portuguese Road Concessions (7) IT infrastructure including ITS and Tolling Systems, from the design to installation and operation. Pedro Pinto has more than 18 years of experience in the road infrastructure sector and his previous professional experience was as IT Manager and Controller. Has a degree in Management and Administration and a Post-Degree in Information Management all from the Portuguese Catholic University. Pedro Pinto is the coordinator of the Tolls Technical Permanent Committee (CP1) from the Association of Portuguese Concession Companies of Toll Motorways or Bridges, is the General Assembly Secretary at Portuguese ITS Association. Is member of the Cooper I group, the European Technical Tolls Committee for ASECAP and Board member of the European Electronic Fee Collection Facilitation Platform Group, a European group that congregates all countries that are installing interoperable all electronic tolls in Europe (TC & EETS). Anastasia Pnevmatikou, Ph.D. is a Senior Traffic and Transport Engineer at Nea Odos and Odos Kentrikis Ellados (the concession company which has undertaken the study, design, construction, operation and exploitation of Ionia Odos, E65 and PATHE motorway concession project”), with more than 15 years’ experience in traffic planning, transport modelling, road safety and road design studies. She holds a diploma of Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), a MSc degree in Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering from the University of Southampton, and a Ph.D from the NTUA. Between 2008 and 2014 she worked as a transport modeler at ATTIKO METRO S.A. (the company that is responsible for constructing the Metro System in Athens, Greece). Before that and since 2004, she has worked as consultant in an international consultancy (Sinclair Knight Merz) both in London, U.K. and Brisbane, Australia. Her main research filed includes traffic engineering, transport modelling, road management systems using GIS tools, road safety, signing studies, disruptions in urban transport systems, mobility patterns and statistics. Anastasia has also been an elected member of the board of the Hellenic Institute of Transport Engineers between 2014-2016.

Graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, I have worked for the french department of transport on various positions in charge of infrastructure project (in Besançon, Strasbourg and Paris) until 2015 when I joined Atlandes.
In Besançon I dealt with urban politics, european funds and infrastructure development (Rhin-Rhone high speed railway line project).
I moved to Strasbourg to set up for the french railways (SNCF) the Agency in charge of station renewal and enlargement for the new high speed line Paris-Strasbourg, in 2001-2002. I then came back to the Ministry, in charge of funding and planning of housing and infrastructure projects for the Alsace area. I carried General Interest procedures for the Strasbourg Great Western Bypass, combining consultation needs, environmental and technical issues. I joined the national HGV charging scheme project in 2007. I led local road network and enforcement system definition, economic appraisal studies and competitive dialog.
I followed the building on the ground and revised revenue and charge forecasts for the State. I organised and participated to the first ground tests in Alsace in April 2013. In charge of contract termination when project was dropped, I joined Atlandes in 2015 when things were settled.

Christos Rados (1965) is an entrepreneurial executive in the professional engineering services industry. He is currently leading Race (www.race.com.gr), an independent regional firm on transportation design and engineering, headquartered in Athens, Greece. 
As Managing Partner, he is designing and building the team and the system to make value creation a reality in Race. Christos is focusing mostly on the firm’s governance domain and core strategic initiatives. Apart from designing Race's strategy, he also participates in the governance boards of the firm's most demanding transportation programs.
Not only a seasoned designer and engineer but also a Scrum fun and programmer, he acknowledges that success is the product of fast reiteration. Christos has a Darwinian approach in corporate and project finance, is deeply committed to value creation, and prefers to see himself as an architect of challenging transportation systems.

Asterios Simopoulos holds the position of Head of Construction at Nea & Kentriki Odos S.A. He earned a Bsc degree in Civil Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2005 and a Msc in Earthquake Engineering and Seismic Design Structures from the Hellenic Open University in 2014. His current research interests include non-linear static pushover analysis, seismic design according to Eurocode 8 and assessment of bridges structural capacity. He has previously worked for Aegean Motorway, Entechnos and Aiolos S.A.
Asterios Simopoulos is a member of the Hellenic Association for Earthquake Engineering (HAEE) and the Geotechnical Extreme Events Reconnaissance (GEER). He is also the author or co-author of many peer-reviewed articles in the field of earthquake engineering and tunnels inspection procedures.

Dr. Skabardonis is an internationally recognized expert in traffic flow theory and models, traffic management and control systems, design, operation and analysis of transportation facilities, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), energy and environmental impacts of transportation. He is a Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and program leader at California PATH, a statewide ITS research center. He has worked extensively in the development and application of models and techniques for traffic control, performance analysis of highway facilities and applications of advanced technologies to transportation.  He has served as Principal Researcher for 90 extra­murally funded contracts and grants totaling over $30M, and has published over 300 archival papers and technical reports.
Dr. Skabardonis is a lifetime member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB), Traffic Flow Theory Committee and member of the TRB Highway Capacity and Quality of Service Committee, plus several subcommittees and task forces He serves on the editorial board of the Intelligent Transportation Systems Journal, and as a reviewer for several journals in transportation.

Ioana Statu has been working as a European public servant in the European Commission for the last 12 years, contributing to European policy making from various angles: auditing of Structural Funds, program management and law making.
Ioana has been working as a Policy Officer in Directorate General for Transport and Mobility (DG MOVE) over the last four years. After having specialised in maritime affairs and ports, she has recently embarked on a new challenge, still inside DG MOVE. Since March 2019, she is active in the Unit dealing with Road Transport and is responsible for the legislative framework related to Electronic Tolling inside the EU. Emanuela Stocchi is an expert in EU legislation and policies and she is the Director of International Affairs for AISCAT (Associazione Italiana Società Concessionarie Autostrade e Trafori), the Italian Association of Toll Highways Concessionaires Companies. In this role she ensures the Association’s contacts with the EU Institutions and other European and International organizations active in the transportation field. Emanuela has an outstanding International background: she holds a degree in Political Science with a specialization in EU law and policies and she has worked in Brussels for eight years with ASECAP, the European Association of Toll Highways Concessionaires Companies, gaining a solid and comprehensive knowledge of all the EU Institutional and public affairs and expanding at the same time her EU and International network in the transportation area. Emanuela is Vice Chair of the ASECAP Permanent Committee of Road Safety, Environment and Sustainability and is also Chair of the PIARC (World Road Association) Task Force on Innovative Financing. Emanuela served IBTTA (International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association) and its members through work on several committees before being appointed to the Board of Directors in 2011. Emanuela served a two-year term as International Vice President, before a three-year term as Second and then First Vice President. He has been IBTTA President in 2017 under the theme “International Mobility Connections” and she is now serving as IBTTA Past President.

Martin (Marty) Stone joined Egis Projects USA in 2013 with responsibility for a wide range of activities in North America.

Mr. Stone’s background includes more than 35 years of transportation and back office operations experience with both public and private organizations. He holds a Bachelor degree in Communications and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida. His Ph.D. is in Public Administration.

As the former Director of Planning for the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA), Mr. Stone was responsible for the planning and development of all new THEA projects from 1996 to 2011 including Tampa’s award-winning elevated Reversible Express Lanes as well as managing the Authority’s urban design efforts and the deployment of advanced electronic tolling systems and ITS traffic controls. For five years, he was Chairman of the IBTTA Committee to develop a plan for toll interoperability throughout North America.

He also served as a senior planning consultant for URS and Parsons Transportation in support of Florida’s turnpike and FDOT and he was an Assistant Vice President with Citibank overseeing the training and communications for the Citicorp Travelers Checks Worldwide Service Center

Greg Taylor is a founding partner of Sequoia Investment Management Company and is Head of Infrastructure at the company.  Sequoia is investment advisor to two infrastructure debt funds: the Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund (“SEQI”) launched March 2015 with a market cap of approximately £1.2 billion and the Sequoia Infrastructure Debt Fund (“IDF”) that launched July 2017 and has AUM of approximately €90 million.  Mr. Taylor has been working in infrastructure debt for more than 30 years in the United States and Europe.  He began his investment banking career in the U.S. municipal bond market at PaineWebber before working in London for Moody’s, Merrill Lynch and UBS prior to founding Sequoia in 2010.  Mr. Taylor’s experience spans the full range of infrastructure assets including airports, toll roads, rail lines, student housing, fibre optic cables, renewables, regulated utilities and rolling stock.

Neil is a registered Civil Engineer and has a Master of Business Leadership degree. He has 30 years of experience in the development, management and operations of National Roads, State and Concessioned Toll Roads. He joined the National Department of Transport in 1989 and The South African National Roads Agency in 1998.
In 2006 he was appointed as the CEO of the N3 Toll Concession (RF) Proprietary Limited in 2006, which manages a portion (415km) of the N3 between Durban and Johannesburg.
He served as the International Vice President of IBTTA (2004/5) and served on the Board of IBTTA from 2001/12. He has authored and presented various international papers on Toll Roads.
He is the immediate Past President of the South African Road Federation and served as a Board member of the IRF Washington (2016/17).

Christopher Tomlinson serves as the Executive Director for the State Road and Tollway Authority, the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority and as Interim Executive Director of the newly created Atlanta-region Transit Link Authority.  In his combined leadership roles, Tomlinson leads three state level authorities whose shared missions are focused on improving mobility in Georgia by providing reliable, innovative transportation solutions to motorists and transit commuters.
Mr. Tomlinson sits on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority and the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association, where he currently serves as President.  He also serves as his agencies’ primary liaison to the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Public Private Partnership program.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Tomlinson served as Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel for SRTA.  Tomlinson served as General Counsel for several state agencies, including GDOT, the Georgia Technology Authority and the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission, where he also served as Deputy Director for the Construction Division.
Mr. Tomlinson graduated cum laude from Morehouse College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Georgia State University College of Law. He resides in Loganville with his family.

Ioanna Vasiliadou is a Transport engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the field of transport planning and road safety. She has worked as a transport researcher for more than 10 European and national research projects, as well as a traffic consultant in various Greek consulting and technical companies. She has also worked as the Transport Planning Manager at the Organising Committee of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, coordinating a team of 15 people responsible for the smooth operation of 3.000 Olympic transport employees and volunteers. During the past 14 years Ioanna has been involved in several Greek Motorway Concession projects, both in the bid submission phase, as well as after the Concession and Operation commencement, mainly in the traffic and technical support sections. Since 2016 she is employed by Aegean Motorway S.A. and holds the Head of Traffic and Road Safety department position. Her main responsibilities include Road Safety and risk management, traffic analysis, traffic modeling, statistical reporting etc.

In her capacity as Director General of the International Road Federation (IRF) in Geneva, Switzerland, Susanna Zammataro is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for the organization. Established in 1948, IRF is a membership-based organisation, representing leading corporate and institutional players drawn from the road and mobility sectors worldwide. Its mission is to promote the development of roads and road networks that enable access and sustainable mobility for all (www.irfnet.ch).
As in-house expert on Environment and Climate change, she is also responsible for the overall environmental programmes and activities run by the IRF. These include the Greenhouse Gas Calculator for road infrastructure (CHANGER), the Green Public Procurement Initiative and Innovative Practices for Greener Roads.
Mrs Zammataro is a member of the Advisory Board of the FIA High Level Panel on Road Safety.  She’s serving since 2012 as the Co-Chairperson of the “Safer Roads and Mobility” Pillar of the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration Group (UNRSC).
She serves as Steering Committee Member in the Sustainable Mobility for All initiative (SuM4All) led by the World Bank and as expert in the WGs on Efficiency, Safety and Gender.
She has represented the Federation at high-level meetings all over the world. She is regularly invited to speak on a variety of topics at international fora and conferences.

Ursula Zechner studied law from 1986 to 1991 and after the internship year at court and a period of studies in Italy, she started her professional career in 1994 by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), where she worked for more than ten years in the central HR department, before moving to ÖBB-Traktion GmbH where she spent five years managing the legal and corporate development department. After 18 months as a managing director of the Federal Railways regulatory body, she was appointed Section Head for the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology in September 2011, where she was responsible for all legislative and regulatory agenda of all modes of transport (road, rail, air and sea).
