An exhibition will be held during the 44th ASECAP Days at the conference venue, the InterContinental Madrid Hotel, and it will be located on the first floor of the hotel. All coffee breaks will take place in the exhibition area.

For the first time ever in ASECAP Days’ history, a visit of the exhibition area will take place on Monday 23 May from 19.30 to 20.30, just before the Welcome Reception. European GNSS: Galileo and EGNOS for next generation Road Charging

Nation-wide schemes based on Satellite Navigation are operational in Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland and Hungary –and under implementation in Belgium, offering innovative flexibility for large and free-flow tolling domains. When applied to specific vehicle type in large road networks, or when tolling systems are extended to new road classes, the cost-benefit advantages of satellite navigation road charging are clear.

Galileo constellation provides for free and in full compatibility with GPS, increased availability in difficult environments, better accuracy and reliability. In addition, EGNOS also provides integrity information on GPS signals.

Globalvia is a worldwide concession leader, ranked the 2nd by number of concessions according to specialised infrastructure publication Public Work Financing.
